The dog immediately fell in love with it... normally she could be literally be swung around hanging around one of my arms as long as she's next to me....but this always occupied is one arm which makes things difficult and sometimes the dog can get hot under your own arm.

strategically placed at the hips with minimal holding there is really no jerking or jarring of the dog.

as advertised theymake the carrier look more sturdy and stiff but in actuality it's more like a sack that's a dog naturally fits into on the deeper end and has side cushions on the face that the dog naturally feels to put his or her chin on....

And she never whines....I had other backpack products like the Snoozer Brand but she'd always sometime throw a fit (esp. rolling carriers) but this one she's so content I can just ignore her & she's happy as a clam...
